Through the Lense
I’m drawn to shape, form, and function – the way things are made, how they age, what their surfaces reveal about their purpose. A weathered door hinge tells a story. The curve of a wooden pew worn smooth by generations. The geometry of a perfectly proofed loaf. Whether I’m photographing food, architecture, places, people, or the tiny world revealed through macro, the approach remains the same: drawing you in close, slowing things right down, keeping it honest and real.
Step into the photograph. What’s out of focus is designed to draw you in, to frame your eyes and guide where you look. One element sharp, everything else softening around it – creating depth, inviting you deeper into the frame. There’s something deeply grounding about noticing the tiny details that usually slip by unnoticed.
